The Thal Dinner takes place in Ruqxana’s home in Siglap.
Move past the front gate and you’ll meet her iconic classic Volkswagen Beetle parked in the driveway. The front garden is shaded with trees and garden plants lit by fairy lights. It leads to an old charming house that puts you at ease the minute you walk in.
The front porch is an area to have a drink, get acquainted and relax. The interior is festooned with an eclectic mix of art and collectables antiques from across Asia. Not forgetting Ruqxana’s handmade ceramics, which take up space at every nook of the house.
The vibe is intimate and warm, with dimly lit candle light, music playing in the background, scent of flowers from the garden and the amazing flavors cooking up in the back kitchen.
